Field Trip to Boulder Rim Cancelled

Filed under: Special Areas, Announcements/Upcoming Events, Field Trips — Kenton Call on October 11, 2005 @ 9:52 am

Due to potential weather problems and lack of interest expressed, we will are cancelling the field trip previously planned for October 13 to the Boulder Rim area of the Teasdale RD.

This is an area we are potentially considering for additional backcountry designation (we recieved several comments on our Management Direction Package suggesting this). If you would like details about our thinking, please call, email, or stop by to talk with us. In the near future, we will provide a draft proposal for some of this area on our blog in preparation for a draft plan in January.

Feel free to comment here if you have any thoughts or questions.
