Forum webpage and notes now available

Filed under: General, Announcements/Upcoming Events, Collaboration, Forest Plan Revision Forum — Andi Falsetto on October 5, 2006 @ 6:40 pm

We’ve created a webpage for much of the information that was presented at the Forest Plan Forum, held June 28-29 in Cedar City, Utah. Many of the presentations have been available here on the blog, but the new webpage should make it easier to access everything that’s available in one location. We have also posted the notes from both days’ events. Thank you to all who participated.

Our current estimate for the start of the 90-day comment period is early 2007.

Filed under: General, Plan Revision Updates, Announcements/Upcoming Events, Proposed Land Management Plan — Andi Falsetto on June 27, 2006 @ 10:19 pm

The fully-linked Proposed Land Management Plan-working document is now online at http://www.fs.fed.us/r4/dixie/projects/lmp/ The structure of this website will likely be changing soon, but the URL is valid now to access the documents. Once the URL does change, we’ll post forwarding information. You will also be able to view the Comprehensive Evaluation Report on this site as well.

THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL CHANGES TO THIS WORKING DOCUMENT BEFORE WE START THE 90-DAY COMMENT PERIOD ON THE PLAN.

CER release

Filed under: General, Announcements/Upcoming Events, Collaboration, Forest Plan Revision Forum — Andi Falsetto on May 31, 2006 @ 6:22 pm

Expected release of the draft Comprehensive Evaluation Report (CER) has been postponed to an estimated date of June 26. Both the draft CER Summary and the longer draft specialist reports should be available at that time. Initially we had hoped to have the draft CER available with the release of the Proposed Plan Working Document in early June, but we do intend to have the draft CER available by the Forest Plan Forum (June 28-29).

As part of the Forum, Frank Fay will lead a break-out session on the afternoon of the 28th to discuss the CER. He will be available for questions and discussion as well.
